Laboratories Director: dr. Luigi Rigano,
chairman, graduated in Industrial Chemistry in 1970 and since then operating in the cosmetic field. For more than 15 years, he has carried out research and development activities, production and technical assistance in many national and International well known companies such as: Unilever, Lepetit, Intercos, Woltz, Givaudan, Schering. He runs his own laboratory since 1986 as independent consultant. He is co-director of ISPE (Institute of Skin and Product Evaluation), an ISO 9002 certified laboratory for the evaluation of tolerability, efficacy and sensorial characteristics of cosmetics and industrial products. He has been president and actually is Honorary Member of SICC. He has been Scientific Secretary and later on Honorary Secretary of IFSCC (International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists). He is member of the register of Chemists in the Lombardia Region and Consultant at the Milan Court. He is also author of more than 90 scientific articles of cosmetic, aesthetic and dermatological subject. He attends the main International Congresses in the cosmetic field as speaker.

Dr. Nicola Lionettigraduated in Chemistry in 2002 at the University of Bari, with a specialization in "Structure and properties of materials." He obtained a Master in Chemistry of the Composite Materials and Industrial Formulations by the Milan University, in 2003. He joined the Rigano Laboratories in the same year as assistant and now he is one of the partners. During these years, he took care of the research, analysis and application of new raw materials and finished products. He gets a deep experience in the formulation of suncare & skin care products. Moreover, he specialized in the assessment of the safety reports and in the regulatory affairs.

He has more than 30 scientific papers published in national and international scientific magazines and/or presented to national and international scientific congresses in the field of cosmetic and dermatology. Speaker at national and international congresses, workshops and courses. He teaches at Courses in Cosmetic Sciences at the Camerino and Bari University.

He was Vice-president of the Italian Society of Cosmetic Chemists. Actually he is the Chair of the Scientific Committee for the next IFSCC 2019 Conference in Milan.


Dr. Miriam Deola: degree in Pharmacy at the University of Milan in 2011. For about six years she has been dealing with studies of application of new raw materialsand development of innovative cosmetic formulations in the field of make-up and skin-care, hair-care, sun-care products. She is specialized in formulations for the Asian market. She provides technical and scientific support to clients, even in the early stages of the industrial scale-up. She collaborates on the development of training activities and courses. She has experience in the analysis of compatibility between product and packaging and in the evaluation of PAO.

Dr. Marta Montoli: degree in Pharmacy at the University of Milan in 2016. For about two years she has been dealing with studies of application of new raw materials and formulation in the field of toiletries and skin-care. She got experience in the Regulatory affairs: Product Informaion File, Cosmetic Safety Report, Labels check.



Mrs. Helietta Vinciguerra: she has almost 20 years working experience as business assistant and administration. She is now involved in the organisation of contacts with customers and suppliers, computer systems, administration and courses management.
